CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

This is my Aunt Jen's famous chocolate chip cookie recipe! I have never tried making them before but they turned out pretty well! Enjoy!


1 cup shortening
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda



Cream shortening with sugars beat in eggs & add Vanilla.

Combine dry ingredients & add to shortening mixture. Add 12oz. Chocolate chips &1tsp. Hot water.

Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes.
